Developer APIs
etracker offers several RESTful APIs for important backend functions that can be used for the processes listed below. In addition, you will find a description of the interfaces for retrieving the data collected with etracker in the Data Services section.

User administration
The user management API (Authorization Profiles and User API) enables the management of rights and roles from third-party systems.
The user management interface is available in the etracker analytics Enterprise Edition. You need an access token to use it. You can create this as an administrator/(main) user in the etracker account under Integrations → Access token create. To do this, enter a name, select Authorizations and Users as the purpose and click on Add. The appropriate access token is generated and made available for acceptance.

Certificate upload for own tracking domains
We recommend using a new certificate for tracking via your own domain, which can be requested via the certificate request under Integration → Website code and can be created and uploaded.
Alternatively, an existing certificate (consisting of certificate, intermediate certificate and key) can be sent to etracker using the Certificate API.

Single Sign-On (SSO)
The Single Sign-On (SSO) API can be used to link directly to suitable etracker reports from third-party systems.

If a SAML identity solution (e.g. Azure AD or SharePoint) is used, access to the etracker application can also be controlled via SAML SSO.
etracker account creation
Technology partners of etracker can create etracker test accounts directly from third-party systems such as plugins using the Account API, so that users do not have to be directed to the etracker website first. An etracker partner ID is required to assign the externally created test accounts. This is obtained as part of a partner contract from etracker Partner Management.

Lead-to-sale conversion
In many cases, business is initiated on the website (leads), but the actual conversion takes place afterwards (sales). This is the case with inquiries or test phases, for example. If the campaign success is also to be evaluated in etracker Analytics on the basis of the converted deals, the Lead to Sale Confirmation API can be used for this.
